EZ-Bar Front Raise
ShouldersStrengthBeginnerEZ bar

A two-handed front raise with an EZ-bar. The angled grip is easier on the wrists than a straight bar while still letting both hands drive the same load.
How to do it
- Stand holding an EZ-bar with an overhand grip on the inner bends, arms hanging in front of the thighs.
- Keep the elbows slightly bent and fixed throughout.
- Raise the bar in a smooth arc up to shoulder height.
- Pause briefly at the top, then lower under control.
- Repeat for the recommended number of repetitions.
Tips
- Raise and lower the bar along the same smooth arc, without swinging it away from the body.
- Do not swing the torso; keep the core braced and the knees slightly soft.
- Stop at shoulder height — going higher shifts tension off the front delts.
Muscles
Primary: Front deltoid
Secondary: Serratus
