Dumbbell Svend Press
ChestStrengthBeginnerDumbbells

A standing chest exercise pressing two dumbbells together in front of the body, where the inward squeeze keeps the pecs under constant tension.
How to do it
- Stand and press two dumbbells together horizontally at chest height.
- Maintain the inward squeeze on the dumbbells throughout.
- Press the dumbbells forward until your arms are almost straight.
- Pull them back to the chest under control.
- Repeat for the prescribed reps.
Tips
- The squeeze on the dumbbells is what makes the exercise — do not let them separate.
- Use a light load — pec activation is the goal, not load.
- Keep the elbows slightly bent at the lockout.
